The Journey — Bentonville Community Church

Over the last month, Pastor Mark (my husband…Pastor Mark, the Third) and I have been diligently asking God how he might have us start our time at BCC together. It feels appropriate to start by sharing my heart for God’s Church. I’ve always been a bit of a Jesus freak who just loved being in church. As I have journeyed as a pastor, through the ups and downs of ministry life, that love has continued to grow exponentially. For the last 7 years, I have made it a habit to read through the Bible every year. This practice, while difficult at times, has allowed the themes of God’s heart to jump off the holy pages of his Word in powerful ways. A theme that is hard to miss is God’s heart for togetherness. God’s design for his people is beautiful. It’s also messy and I love it!
