Pentecost Sunday

Listen as we celebrate Pentecost…the day the promise of Christ was fulfilled…His Holy Spirit! One of the events on that day was the sound of a rushing mighty wind…the wind of His presence given to daily empower our lives!
Contrary to some current understanding, Holy Spirit is not an “It”…He is the moment by moment keeper of our heart, He is our guide, He the power to live as Christ called us to live…“… just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:15-16
There is a present need to rely more fully on the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and my desire is to put up the sail of our heart and let it be filled with His wind to be drawn in His direction, in His power.
