Identity - Discovering Our Spiritual DNA - An Empty Seat is Room For a Friend

One of the greatest stories in scripture is when Philip invites Nathanael to meet Jesus. Nathanael scoffs and says, "Nazareth? Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Apparently, it was a dumpy little town. Philip is undeterred by Nathanael's disbelief. He simply replies, "Come and see."

Philip's simple invitation is really all we have to do to share our faith with others. God is calling us to invite our friends to come and see. He will do the rest...all we have to do is extend the invitation.

Listen as we look at this part of our spiritual DNA. What Philip did was called "relational evangelism" which is a fancy way of saying, "An empty seat is room for a friend."
