Soundtrack for a Savior - From Now On

One of the most difficult things in life is learning to trust. We like to think that we can control our own destiny…that we can pull ourselves out of any situation.

But then life happens.

Life happened in Psalm 55 and the worshipper cries out for help. At his lowest point, he finally throws his hands up and confesses that he will trust in God.

As we consider the demands of discipleship, there is no other option than complete and total trust. We have to imagine that when Jesus invited his followers to take up a cross, he did so with this hymn of trust in mind.
