A Consuming Fire - Week 3 // March 8, 2026

This week was the third week in our Lent series titled, “A Consuming Fire”. As we approach the cross and resurrection of our Lord we must remember who our God is and avoid distractions so that can hear His voice and experience His presence. God doesn’t give up on us. He is calling us back, calling us deeper! Join us for week three of, “A Consuming Fire”.

May we experience a purifying and indwelling of the consuming fire of God.

Purifying that changes us — Indwelling that empowers us.

Notes from Sunday’s Sermon:

  • Desire & distractions are everywhere.

  • The Israelites forgot.

  • What makes us forget God?

  • Consistent temptation for the people of God throughout history to forget who God has called us to be and to get distracted by all that we want.

  • Even when God brings judgement & justice he doesn’t give up on us.

  • God is never done calling, never done seeking restoration and renewal for all.

  • God can change hearts & He still is.
